PERSONAL INJURY MARKETING CASE SUMMARY
In June of 2006 Craig Knapp, the managing partner of Knapp & Roberts, met Alex Morris at the ATLA convention in Seattle. Craig is a hugely successful wrongful death trial lawyer in Scottsdale who has won a number of mulit-million dollar verdicts in Arizona. Craig had grown frustrated with the performance of his two existing sites, which were designed by another legal website provider. The sites, while visually appealing, were completely invisible to the search engines. Because of this, Knapp & Roberts were using expensive pay-per-click(PPC) campaigns that were producing large bills but no new clients. In a 45 minute conversation Alex was able to show Craig why the two sites were not performing and together they launched a plan to vastly improve his online web presence without the use of PPC.
Understanding the importance of focus with the search engines, Craig had FindLaw build 4 new sites for his practice; A main personal injury site, a nursing home abuse site, a motor vehicle accident site, and a site focused on medical malpractice. From the outset, Alex Morris set realistic performance expectations as it takes time for the search engines to index and rank new content, particularly in competitive areas like personal injury. As expected, the new sites took almost a year to really start producing. Today, all of his sites are doing well in the search engines and they are producing a consistent stream of prospective client calls and emails. Most importantly, his sites have brought him a number of very large cases.
